Nursery

The Nursery
When I saw the room that would be the nursery for the first time, my mom and my Aunt Kathy had tons of presents for the baby wrapped and stacked in the crib. It was so awesome to open everything and finally get the nursery organized. What a surprise!
Ian and I have not had time to take a baby class, so Ian practiced putting a diaper on the stuffed bunny (sitting in the chair). He did a pretty good job...we'll see how he does with the real thing.
Crib

Baby Duncan Finally Has a Crib!
Ian rebuilt and repainted the crib that my mom used for me and my brother. It turned out perfect. I really love it with the bedding (Thanks again Andrea!) and the chocolate brown walls. We are in search of the perfect mobile to finish it all off. But at least he has a place to sleep if he decides to arrive early.

Day 9: Tornado Alley

Tornado Alley
Luckily, we managed to dodge both tornados and golf ball sized hail that were in Oklahoma City over night. We shopped in Oklahoma this morning to make sure we stayed way behind the storm front for our drive today. It paid off, because I found a really cute Southwestern furniture store and bought a couple of gifts there. Ian bought a pair of HUGE bull horns...not sure what he is planning to do with them, hopefully not hanging them over the fireplace in the new house.
We are in Memphis tonight. We are planning a little site seeing in the morning and then a long drive through Tenn. We may even make it all the way to Greenville by tomorrow night. I am sure ready for my old bed again.
